PET Recycling

Polyethylene terephthalate, or “PET" as it’s most commonly known, is a clear polymer that is used to manufacture strong, lightweight containers for everything from water, juice and soft drink bottles to items found in most households like salad dressing, dish detergent and shampoo.  It is 100% recyclable.

Because of the properties of PET and its durability, it can be recycled over and over again.  This recycled PET, or “rPET" as it is known, requires less energy to manufacture than a pound of new (virgin) PET, reducing the carbon footprint associated with traditional package manufacturing.  This creates a sustainable, high performing, cost-effective packaging solution that helps businesses, governments and communities meet regulatory requirements for both food and non-food grade applications.

For brand managers, plastics manufacturers and consumers alike, rPET is the clear choice for a variety of environmentally sound packaging solutions.
